I am an entrepreneur, consultant, and advisor with a broad history in information technology. In 2007, I founded The Kelso Group, a technology and management consulting firm based in Nashville, TN. Over the years, we have walked with our clients through mergers, acquisitions, corporate moves, major technology shifts, and organizational restructures. I have been privileged to serve as an advisor to a wide range of companies, from early stage to Fortune 100.
I co-founded Healthcare Blocks (formerly Atlas Health), and served as Chief Executive Officer for just over two years during the early growth phase of the company. I remain a major shareholder and a member of the Board of Directors.
I have participated as a mentor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and with incubator / accelerator programs such as Jumpstart Foundry and Healthbox. Through those programs, I have worked with dozens of startups in addition to the handful of formal advisory roles I have held.
I have been a featured speaker at technology and leadership conferences, private corporate events, and universities. I have written articles for Nashville Business Journal and various technology industry / trade publications.
I was born and raised in Lakeland, FL, but moved to the Middle Tennessee area in 1994. I have been married for 18+ years, and have three sons. We live in a suburb of Nashville, TN.
Ministry / Volunteerism
I sit on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations, including A Door to Hope, and am a member of the Board of Governors for Opportunity International. I regularly travel abroad to observe and participate in the programs these great organizations are leading. I am also actively involved in Cornerstone Nashville, where I serve as an elder, teach classes, and coach other leaders.
